Railway demolition
Railway demolition contractors
Our railway experience started in 1993, when some of the more experienced in our team demolished our first road over Rail Bridge on the Liverpool St Station to Norwich line as part of the original electrification of that route. Following on, we demolished a total of 26 bridges along that line for various main contractors.
From that initial foray we have developed our bridge specialisation, expanded upon elsewhere, and rail infrastructure works.
We have worked on overhead line, third rail and underground sites, subsequently demolishing:
- Signal Boxes, both beside and above the lines
- P-Way Huts
- OHLE Gantries
- Station Buildings
- Platforms
- Rail Depot
- Footbridges-Steel, Concrete and even Wood
- Turntables
- Station Roof Removal, in a live station (Paddington)
